Memorial Plaque Transferred
to Active Duty Squadron 7-11-04

passed on 9 July 2004
Sunday morning, outside the Reno Hilton Hotel,
we prepare to transfer.
Takes a lot of manpower to handle it at approximately
285 pounds.
Reverse the process at the Reno/Lake Tahoe International
Airport.
The plaque is now in the capable hands of the
Purple Fox crew.
Cpl. Paul Wood, the crew chief, is securing the
plaque for the flight to California.
We all wait for the preflight to finish and bid
the plaque farewell.
At some future date the plaque will reside permanently
within the Semper Fidelis
Memorial Park, National Museum of the Marine Corps
at Quantico, Va.
Stephanie has dubbed this photo, "Stephanie's
Heaven." From left,
Capt. Justin E. Marvel, Cpl. Richard J. Zacher, Stephanie
Hanson,
1stLt. Benjamin M. Davenport and Cpl. Paul B. "Pretty
Boy" Wood.
Truly outstanding Marines, the Purple Fox legacy is
in good hands.
