Cpl. Dennis M. Mannion, our FO, was worried about
head injuries from incoming. He took a flack jacket apart and placed
some of the fiberglass plates inside the camo-cover of his helmet.
Added a bit of weight and made it look like a German Army W.W.II helmet,
but he felt much better.

Cpl. John Emro. His nick name was Con Thien
Emro because he was always telling us that we had it pretty good on the
hill because it was worse while he was at Con Thien.
