Maj. John Christopher Archbold was killed on June 7, 1969.  It is not clear that he was permanently assigned to the squadron.  He was not listed on the June Command Chronology of the squadron as being killed.   Possibly he was flying this mission as a copilot to gain flight hours for flight pay purposes.  Other information suggests he was a member of MABS-16.
