The "Yankee Kilo" Marines resupply missions were in support of the Republic of Vietnam Army (ARVN).  They were unusual as these pictures relate.   For associated narrative click here.

Most of the cattle were hauled in C-123s such as this one.  One day an emergency required herding the cattle out while in flight.
