Sgt. Gary Rogers was one of seven Purple Foxes who
spent one or two full days at the crash site due to inclimate weather which
hampered the recovery mission. The Marine standing is Cpl Dale Johnson.

SSgt. Beverly Lee Barnhart was the NCOIC of
the hydraulics shop. He was a nice, quiet, person who was respected
by the junior enlisted types who knew him. He was killed in action
on April 11, 1969 while serving as the gunner on YK-16. That
