Commander Task Group Three Two Point Three takes pleasure in COMMENDING OPERATIONS SPECIALIST FIRST CLASS WILLIAM MICHAEL WILLIAMS UNITED STATES NAVY for service as set forth in the following "For professional achievement while serving as the day shift Task Group Watch Officer for Commander Task Group Three Two Point Three stationed at NAS Adak, Alaska from 10 December 1985 to 10 June 1986. Petty Officer Williams consistently performed demanding duties in a most exemplary and highly professional manner. Demonstrating strong leadership and excellent motivation, he expertly supervised the daily functioning of the Operational Command Center and ensured a near perfect daily continuity in response to long range tasking by operational commanders. Displaying keen fore- thought and superb tactical knowledge he proved to be an invaluable asset to the Task Croup Commander in prioritizing and accomplishing a myriad of emergent operational commitments. His diligent efforts inspired all who observed him and contributed significantly to the successful accomplishment of the Task Group's mission.
