the shell & bomb damaged hill behind 950 is NVA controlled Hill 1015.

When YK-14 (First "TJ's Taxi") arrived in country
we didn't have rocks to throw at the enemy. Got the M-60s, then later
on we were armed with .50s.

Maj. Al Chancey said, "Well, 'TJ' Miller's Taxi and
crew survived another mission." It was during February '68 that a
CH-46 logged the 70,000th combat flight hour in Vietnam, possibly one of
the "Purple Fox" birds.
