Dear Dave:

 Happy Father's Day.  Please forward this email to all of my dad's Marine
 Corps friends.  He died this morning at about 4:45, in his sleep, very
 peacefully.  I hope that while you may morn his passing you will be happy
 that he is now peaceful, happy and free from his broken body.  I thank you
 all so much for your prayers and emails, they were appreciated so very
much.

 I wish you all a very Happy Father's Day and ask you all not to be sad for
 his passing, but be happy that his suffering is over.
