Courage
Steve was a Texan, he graduated from Baylor University where he played football.  I knew him at San Marcos Academy, which is also in Texas.  Steve got 100% out of life every day, he did not know the meaning of the word quit.  I looked up to him like a big brother.

This was Steve's senior picture in our high school annual, The Crest.  San Marcos Baptist Academy is a private military school. He was president of his senior class, an outstanding athlete, and respected by all.  The members of the class of '62 are very proud to have known him, and I will share this with them at our 40th reunion in April 2002.  Thank you so much for doing this.
