The Arizona Territory from the front seat of a Cobra I was gunning on. I had gone to HML-367 to get some bootlegged time to qualify to fly the Cobra. I loved to shoot! I only logged some 20 plus hours until I was caught and then it was back to the "Phrog" for the remainder of my tour. The smoke is from a village we had visited a few minutes earlier. Seems it had been built in violation of the zoning ordinances and the powers that be wanted it removed. Liberty Bridge is just this side of the forks of the river, a great deal of USMC history was written there.
