It gives me pleasure to relate the following information received from Colonel Eugene R. "Papa Fox" Brady:
| Pat Donovan was inducted into" The Early and Pioneer Naval Aviators Association, Sub-title:"The Golden Eagles" at the annual meeting held in San Diego, 22-26 April.. Pat was inducted along with two astronauts and others including a P.O.W. with an heroic and distinguished flying career. Pat's wife, Beba and daughter, Captain Eileen Donovan U.S.M.C. were in attendance. As a matter of interest Eileen is a "46" driver with HMM-166 stationed at M.C.A.S. Miramar. She will be deployed later in the year. Pat and family were greeted warmly by all members and to many became known as "The Judge". In sum he was our quintessential Fox. He represented us well. |
