As you know, I live in California, near Hollywood. It is a requirement of residency that all people who live in southern California be aspiring actors. Aaccordingly ,I wish to report that I have been cast in a commercial (actually 2 commercials). Boeing Corporation has created two commercials to be presented in honor of veterans of all wars. I won't go into the details of how, but I got a casting call to read for the commercial. I did so and a few days later got a call back. Next, I was told that I was selected for both commercials. The first will air on Veterans Day, on CNN and the networks. The second will be on Memorial Day, same stations.
There were 20 people selected from the hundreds interviewed. Some will appear in one commercial, some will be in both. The commercial is 30 seconds long, so 10 people equals about 3 or 4 seconds of screen time. During the filming I wore my flight jacket, and our squadron patch was quite visible. Also, during a part of the filming I wore the purple hat we got a few years ago. So, the Purple Foxes and Marine helo's will be represented in the Boeing tribute. (For you 268 guys, that patch was also very visible)
