We were not allowed booze in the hootch, so we rummaged through the officer's garbage cans to find their empties which we decorated with.  Now, if you believe that I have another one for you!

Medical evacuations, bullets, beans and water were extremely important to our Grunts, but nothing was better for morale than to hear from their loved ones back in the "world."  Here we are hauling the mail.

Me, Cpl. Edwards on the left, and Cpl. Bruce Schwartz on R&R at the Bangkok Zoo.  Went King Salmon fishing with Bruce in 1985 and got a 63 pounder.  Bruce is a guide and outfitter in Alaska.
