The hooches were not equipped with running water.  These trailers, otherwise known as 'water buffalos', provided potable drinking water.

Warrant Officer G. Lee Radford is promoted to 2dLt. by __________.  Lt. Radford broke his right hand on a shovel while digging a trench around his tent late in 1965.  Lee Radford remained in the Corps and retired as a Major.
