Ed Wilke on his way to receive medical assistance after taking a round in the leg.  On the larger image you can see the bandage.  He is wearing the standard flack jacket since they didn't have the new "bullet bouncers" and survival vests which came later. Ed received a Silver Star for his actions during this mission.

Not one of ours, but displays high pressure hydraulic leak and fire which air crews of "Dogs" or "Phrogs" feared more than 50 cal. rounds flying through the aircraft.  The rounds would enter then leave.
