Pollywog Ritual Aboard USNS Breton
The Marines of HMM-364 come before the judges for sentencing. They
had acquired various infractions as to required attire and other formalities
set forth by those that had previously crossed the International Date Line.
This process is required to enter The Domain of the Golden Dragon.
There were no polliwogs that were free of infractions, all were sentenced
to be degraded.

Cpl. Warren Smith is punished for his infractions following a "just
trial". Behind him in the white T-shirt looking on is Cpl. Robert
Davis and to the right of him in a white T-shirt is Cpl. George Dodds,
and at the very right hand corner is Sgt. Ernest Kapustka.

Cpl. Warren Smith is hosed down following various
indignities endured. There is some kind of slime dripping from his chin.
To the very left is Cpl. Joe Heath, to his right is Sgt. Carl Albert, with
Pfc. Joe Minkiewicz to his right. The other polliwog being cleansed is
possibly Cpl. Larry Haupert.
